Tamco Electrical Engineering Co. established
1973
Cutler-Hammer Inc. of USA (now part of the Eaton Corp of USA) acquires Tamco.
Company changes name to Tamco Cutler-Hammer
1986
Nylex Malaysia Berhad gains control of Tamco
1992
Tamco’s trading and distribution operations merge with Newey & Eyre, a regional distributor of electrical products to become Tamco Electrical & Electronics
2003
Ancom Berhad acquires Nylex & Tamco Corporate Holding, Tamco Electrical & Electronics rename to Tamco Systems to better reflect the new business focus
2007
Company renamed to align with different business - Tamco Systems to focus on Critical Systems Protection and Tamco Electrical & Environmental to focus on trading/distribution and hygiene business
